Hey, I’m Sarah and I’m so glad you’re here! This blog was born during the rare, sacred hours when the house is (mostly) quiet, aka nap time. It’s my chance to string together a few coherent thoughts about motherhood before someone needs milk or a snack.
Around here, I write about all the not so glamorous sides of parenting, like the newborn trenches, sleep deprivation, and pretending you didn’t just reheat your coffee for the third time. You’ll also find unsolicited advice plus tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way.
I started Nap Time Tangents because I needed somewhere to write down my thoughts during the chaos that is motherhood. If you’re a mom who’s ever googled “is it normal if…” at 3 a.m. or considered hiding in the pantry just to finish a snack alone, you’re in the right place.
